GS Institute (GSI)

Grow Society Institute (GSI) provides participants from across industries an opportunity to experience a series of focused lessons led by experts in their chosen field.

Each course is offered on an entry or advanced level to meet the needs of teams and individuals for whom the subject covered may be new territory or for those seeking a more nuanced and understanding.

Each course consists of two modules that span across our seven day intensives:

Each participant will engage in a 60-minute GSI culminating experience during which they’ll have the opportunity to benefit from an individual session with their course instructor.

During the individual session, the course instructor will support participants in further assessing their plan of action, identifying benchmarks, and creating a roadmap for implementation.

Anti-Bias/Anti-Racist (ABAR) Training
  • The first module, Understanding Bias and Identifying Racism, guides participants through a survey of learning theories, social histories, and identity concepts while developing a common language from which to work.
  • The second module, Bias and Racism in Practice, extends this work with illustrations of bias and racism in common modern-day practice, including microaggressions and microassaults and how to dismantle, un-learn, and re-think internalized practices and language of white supremacy.
