BLM
We at Grow Society stand, unequivocally and unwaveringly, with the Black community — not only in the wake of protests against the physical brutality committed globally, but we stand with them in the fight to eradicate the educational, informational, and community resource inequities perpetuated by systemic racial injustice and the privileging of white supremacy and its insidious work.
The villainization of Blackness, its presentations, and intersections is neither new nor specific to the United States. Recognizing that within our borders there has been a significant rise in emboldened acts of bigotry that are being carried out by individuals and collectives, we at Grow Society position ourselves as declarative and active combatants against ideologies of hate, prejudice, and injustice.
To this end, we commit to working in partnership with BIPOC stakeholders. We do this in our professional capacity as a team, supporting educators, community leaders, and schools administrators in the instruction of young people and in the teaching of adults. We also partner with BIPOC stakeholders in the way we live our lives and in our individual efforts to lead, support, and rally for change.
